Tweetie 1.2 Released

There have been some great updates on Tweetie which, in our opinion is the best Twitter client, with features that the users have been waiting eagerly for all this while.

The great features that Tweetie has been updated with, includes some Popularity EnhancemEnts (PEE), a feature that the users have been dying to access. The update that is almost a dream come true for not only the iPhone community but also all other platforms, is that Tweetie has now been updated to version 1.2. Also, two other features have been added to it which has been clubbed together as one app in the iPhone. This is something that the users have been requesting for since the release of the iPhone. Finally, Loren Brichter who is the developer of Twitter has answered the requests of the users by combining these two apps into one power packed application.

The user interface of Tweetie is just fabulous and it is capable of holding multiple accounts. The application is a powerhouse of features. There are some great new features that come with the new version if Tweetie. These include several interesting features like Instapaper integration, a landscape keyboard, swipe controls, block/unblock of users and draft saving.

The Tweetie at $2.99 is the best Twitter client available on the iPhone. The swipe control is the feature that is catching the attention of all. With this feature you can just swipe to quickly reply to, view the details of the user, or mark a tweet as a favorite. This is much faster and more efficient than the previous interface that required you to go to another screen.

The new features enhance the already excellent user interface of Tweetie. Tweetie is the complete package and does not lack anything that you could possibly need- Twitter search integration, search favorites, multiple accounts, picture integration, location integration, inline web and image viewer, nearby (location services based) searches, and much more.

If you want to make Tweetie even more perfect then all you have to do is go to Settings and turn the Popularity enhancement on by clicking on Advanced.
