Frenzic had already been a popular game for the Mac OS – and now, IconFactory has announced that it has launched it for the iPhone/iTouch interfaces! This time, the previous drawbacks of this fast-paced and amazingly intriguing game seem to vanish into thin air – with the touch pad consoles becoming the ideal way to play this game.

It is very easy to learn this simple game where you have to fill up six different circles (located hexagonally on your screen) with pieces of pie that appear in the center. Vaguely reminiscent of the eternally popular Tetris, this game gives you a five-second delay before you take your decision and this gets progressively shorter as you progress.

On the whole, everything seems to be going for this game – simple, and seductive levels that keep you hooked to it; different Devotion levels that ultimately lead you to the Frenzic Grandmaster; facilities for online matches; and other bonuses such as power-ups during games.

However, there are some features that we would like to see improved. For instance, you can’t listen to audio while playing. Moreover, the game can be taxing for beginners, causing them to lose interest at the outset. Now that is something no one wants to happen!
