iPad users statistics
Posted by admin on Friday Apr 30, 2010 Under iPadThe iPad has become very famous for stirring opposite reactions in it’s consumers. When it was first launched I believe it had the worst publicity any product has ever had. The reason why this happened was because people were expecting a revolutionary product that was supposed to break all the boundaries of technology. When it finally came out, it disappointed the public because there were already too many high expectations.
Though the expectations had no logical base, it didn’t stop critics from freely expressing them to the public. I believe most people expected the iPad to be a complete failure as even investors were reticent in getting involved. The reason why it suddenly didn’t look like a good project to invest in was the fact that the public was fast to judge without considering that the iPad was actually starting a new line of computing. This way it actually had no opponent to be compared with and it wasn’t long until people finally understood that.
Once the waters started cooling off, the iPad amazed the world with an evolution that nobody expected. Though it registered a lot of sales from the start, it was about to reach it’s pick in an unexpectedly short period. Investors were soon to be more and more interested I the device and the iPad has largely expended it’s views and capacities. It has a great number of applications that can be purchased for small amounts of money or even downloaded for free. These apps have gotten to turn it into a different device for every user. Business men found that they could easily personalize the iPad to their liking, and that it can considerably make their work easier.
Suddenly, $500 didn’t seem like a big investment to take on for such a useful device that can be taken along just about anywhere. People who are always on the road also had a great appreciation of the device as it gave them the possibility to stay in touch with their work and new information. They had easy internet access, fast email access and even news or any another information access. There are a lot of people from different social classes and totally different job fields that have found the iPad to be quite useful. This did not mean however that the device from the future was strictly focused on business as teenagers happened to find it quite interesting.
The range of entertainment apps turned out to be quite amazing and nothing like anyone would have imagined. It has become the coolest thing around and a lot of parents had to get the money out of their pockets to buy it for their teenage kids. There was also a number of responsible high school kids who decided to put on a few more hours of work at their part time jobs in order to get it. Suddenly the iPad was worth a lot of sacrifice. So, in what statistics are concerned, I guess the bad publicity only made it more interesting as people have been buying it from the start and the customer flow seems to be stable.
